As we look to enhance our storytelling and showcase our products, we are seeking a talented In-House Visual Content Creator to join our team. This role will be pivotal in creating engaging video and photography content that resonates with tool users everywhere.

Position Overview

The In-House Visual Content Creator will plan, shoot, and edit captivating video and still imagery that elevate the GreatNeckTools brands across digital, social, e-commerce, and retail platforms. Your work will play a key role in how millions of users experience and connect with our products.

You will collaborate closely with various teams, utilizing our in-house studio to produce top-notch, engaging content. We are looking for a creative storyteller with strong technical skills in videography, a passion for tools, and the ability to manage both independent tasks and collaborative projects. This is a full-time position based in our Memphis, TN office and does not offer hybrid or remote arrangements. Key Responsibilities

  • Create: Plan, shoot, and edit dynamic video and still content for websites, social media, e-commerce, and internal communications.
  • Capture engaging visuals in both studio and real-world environments.
  • Collaborate: Work with marketing and product teams to develop creative concepts, storyboards, and treatments.
  • Support still photography efforts for product and lifestyle images both in studio and on location.
  • Manage: Maintain an organized video and photo asset library, ensuring brand consistency across all materials.
  • Innovate: Stay updated on trends in video/photo production, social-first formats, and emerging technologies, including AI tools.

Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of professional videography experience.
  • Proficiency in editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).
  • Strong knowledge of cameras, lighting, and audio equipment, including recording and mixing capabilities.
  • Skills in lighting design for various environments.
  • Experience with motion graphics/animation (After Effects or similar).
  • Familiarity with AI-powered video tools.
  • Expertise in color grading and correction.

Creative & Strategic Skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfort working in industrial and construction settings.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in product, manufacturing, automotive, or tools/hardware industries.
  • Knowledge of tools or automotive repair.
  • Drone operation and FAA certification.
  • 3D animation or advanced motion graphics skills.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and video standards.
