This role is ideal for an attorney who enjoys researching complex legal issues, drafting persuasive briefs, and shaping case strategies in impactful litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft persuasive legal briefs, motions, and memoranda for employment class action and PAGA cases.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research on complex employment and wage and hour issues.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop effective case strategies and legal arguments.
- Review and analyze discovery materials, depositions, and other supporting documents.
- Ensure all written work complies with applicable court rules and deadlines.
- Contribute to team strategy meetings and overall case development.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in plaintiff-side employment law preferred, with a strong emphasis on legal writing.
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines.
- Admission to the California State Bar in good standing.
- Experience with employment class actions or PAGA litigation preferred (MDL experience a plus but not required).
