Position Overview

As part of the Global Technology Partner Marketing team within the Global Partner Marketing organization, this role supports SAP’s partner ecosystem, drives brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue opportunities for both SAP and our partners, by delivering successful partner experiences and modern marketing programs. We’re looking for a talented, self‑directed, positive, collaborative, and highly motivated Marketing Manager with strong digital and stakeholder management experience to join our team. The new colleague reports to the Head of Global Technology Partner Marketing and will be a data‑driven marketer who brings new ideas, focus, and dedication to the job every day.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Learn business priorities for the SAP and Microsoft technology partnership with internal stakeholders (e.g., partner business managers), including products, business model, challenges, marketing needs, GTM strategies, and KPIs.
  • Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy, integrated plan, and program architecture that supports the partnership’s business priorities and delivers the best marketing performance for both partner and SAP.
  • Identify relevant, targeted, customer‑centric, joint marketing initiatives.
  • Design and execute innovative, impactful, cost‑effective, and measurable programs and campaigns tightly aligned to the partnership’s business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the partner, business development, corporate marketing, product marketing, field marketing, sales, creative agencies (as needed), and other content creators to identify, curate, and customize high‑performing, measurable assets and programs, including product and partnership messaging, top‑of‑funnel thought leadership and awareness content, global demand generation activities and program integrations across key regional teams, marketing assets for syndication in partner‑owned newsletters, press releases, and digital media channels (e.g., social media, web), and further asset amplification on SAP‑owned marketing platforms and channels (e.g., web, social, community, PR).
  • Ensure all programs have clear and measurable success metrics, champion a “test and learn” optimization approach, analyze and optimize partner marketing program performance to increase partner engagement and continuously improve program success metrics.
  • Support and contribute to internal communication vehicles to update, educate, and share success stories, share and syndicate best practices, high‑performing programs, and strategies with extended project teams.
  • Align with partnership stakeholders to ensure marketing programs closely align to business and sales goals for each partnership and continuously evangelize your marketing strategy, plans, and results while collaborating for ongoing refinement.
  • Manage program budgets/resources (owned, stakeholders’ and/or partner‑contributed) and vendors required to support program execution.

Is This You?

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Partner Marketing/Business Development.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Strong digital footprint desired; knowledge of digital marketing a must.
  • Number‑ and data‑driven marketing mindset: analytical, detail‑oriented, and data‑skilled.
  • Experience in the high‑tech sector and B2B marketing know‑how preferred.
  • Strong people skills related to trust building, empowerment, motivation, and teamwork.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes toward an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. The targeted combined range for this position is 142,500 – 242,300 USD. The actual amount offered will be within that range, dependent upon key aspects of each case including education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount; actual payout is dependent on company and personal performance.
