Title: User Experience Researcher
Division: Arthrex, Inc. (US01)
Location: Naples, FL.
Main Objective The User Experience Researcher will be responsible for conducting user-centered research, synthesizing data, and working with cross-functional teams to improve our products and generate innovative design ideas.
Responsibilities
Work with UX designers, product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to prioritize research opportunities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
Design and conduct early stage design and product definition activities, including research, interviews, personas, workshops, and focus groups.
Contribute to building the UX research process, from participant recruiting, screening, scheduling and writing usability test plans.
Perform the role of validating design concepts and product ideas with customers and gathering actionable feedback on user needs and usability.
Participate in collaborative sessions with UX designers to translate research results into personas, prototypes, usage scenarios, and workflows.
Establish research strategies and conduct studies using a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods.
Communicate research findings to assorted audiences through written reports and oral presentations.

Education and Experience
Bachelor of Science degree in Human Computer Interaction Design, Human Interaction Design, other Design or equivalent job experience required
Advanced degree(s) a plus
2+ years of relevant work experience, including knowledge of a wide range of UX research methods and techniques including multi-screen UX research required
Experience with data- driven user research, user personas, observation and analysis, story mapping, wireframes, and task flows required
Experience working in the medical industry a plus
Experience working in an Agile environment a plus
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training
Strong command of quantitative, behavioral analysis and statistics.
Knowledge of all aspects of user experience research with a particular strength in integrating user research into product designs and design practices.
Knowledge of human factors, user-centered design processes, interaction design guidelines, methodologies, industry standards and trends, and usability testing methods.
Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills.
The ability to manage ambiguity, work autonomously and multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills
Strong knowledge of Optimal Workshop, UserTesting.com, UserZoom, Axure, and InVision.
Language and Communication Skills Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above. Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management. Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
