We are seeking a visionary and strategic leader to serve as Head of Brand & Creative Strategy for Citi Wealth. This role will shape the future of our global brand, leading the development and execution of a unified, differentiated brand presence across all channels and audiences. This leader will serve as the brand steward for Citi Wealth—owning our visual identity, creative expression, media strategy, and brand narrative across the full wealth continuum.
Our design target is the world’s changemakers—the clients shaping the future of business, culture, and society. We must deliver a brand experience that speaks to their ambition, values, and influence—boldly differentiated from traditional competitors and unmistakably Citi.
Responsibilities
Define and execute Citi Wealth’s global brand strategy, ensuring a cohesive brand architecture and positioning across all wealth segments—from affluent to ultra-high-net-worth clients.
Drive global brand alignment in partnership with regional marketing and business leaders.
Champion brand governance, ensuring consistency in tone, identity, and expression.
Oversee the development of Citi Wealth’s visual identity system, ensuring it is modern, distinctive, and scalable across touchpoints.
Lead creative direction and storytelling across campaigns, experiences, and content platforms.
Elevate the brand with design that resonates with the world’s changemakers and sets Citi apart in a crowded and conservative category.
Lead global paid media strategy across brand, digital, sponsorship, and content-driven channels to drive awareness, preference, and engagement.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications
15+ years of experience
Experience in brand strategy, integrated marketing, creative leadership, or media strategy—ideally in financial services, luxury, or innovation-driven industries.
Proven success leading global brand transformations or high-impact campaigns at scale.
Experience managing and inspiring high-performing, cross-functional teams and agency partners.
Exceptional creative sensibility with a data-informed mindset.
Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Global perspective with experience working across diverse markets and cultures.
Education
Bachelor’s/University degree; Master’s degree preferred.
