Overview

Senior Level Civil Designer role at POWER Engineers. Our Facilities Division focuses on high-performing projects in food and beverage, Federal projects, and industrial facility design. You’ll help design new buildings, remodels, and additions, and provide drafting for structural steel design for industrial equipment supports, platforms, pipe racks, and more. Responsibilities

Assist in the design of buildings and facility components as part of a collaborative team. Provide drafting for structural steel design, equipment supports, platforms, and pipe racks. Contribute to project goals and success, taking ownership of assigned tasks. Participate in a thorough QA/QC process to ensure high-quality deliverables for clients and team members. Required Education/Experience

Associates Degree in Drafting or equivalent technical degree Minimum of 7 years of civil design and terrain modeling using AutoCAD Civil3D, MicroStation InRoads, or similar software Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and adapt to change Adaptable, problem solver, and capable of learning/applying new technologies with support Understanding of basic mathematical concepts Understanding of drawing setup and internal/client CAD standards Ability to read Architectural, Structural, and Mechanical drawings Desired Education/Experience

Expertise with AutoCAD Civil3D Experience with MicroStation Prior construction experience in any construction environment Compensation and Benefits
