The Mobile UX team is seeking a highly motivated UX analyst with strong project management skills. The candidate should possess comprehensive knowledge of the design cycle from research, requirements gathering, to design iteration, validation, and QA. In the role, the candidate will own the UX design aspect of a product’s development process, review and analyze the latest UX, deliver UX feedback with alternative designs to designers, and lead communications with North American mobile carriers as well as teams based in South Korea. The candidate will also track, manage and resolve any UX related issues raised during the lifecycle of the product.

Responsibilities

Communicate device UX with carriers, gather feedback, work closely with designers in S. Korea to enhance device experience.

Review and analyze UX in early phases of development and deliver relevant feedback.

Communicate and cooperate with counterparts of internal teams such as product design, research, engineering, and marketing as well as external partners, such as telecommunication operators and external consultants.

Ensure that the UI development results meet market (consumer) demand, technical specifications, and carrier requirements.

Analyze UX of competing mobile devices as well as market trends in mobile UX.

Conduct design research and propose new concepts with mockups.

Conduct group usability studies and document results and analysis of the studies.

Requirements

Bachelor in design‑related areas, Masters preferred

3 years with Bachelors, OR 1+ with Masters degree

Master degree preferred in Human factors, Human‑computer interactions, Interaction Design, Usability engineering, Computer Science, Psychology, Information Technology.

Deep knowledge of application architecture basic concepts, software design process, and UI/UX design deliverables.

Experience in designing Mobile application and involvement from research to delivering design artifacts.

Strong time and project management skills under tight deadlines managing multiple projects at the same time.

Experience working with cross‑functional teams reporting to multiple stakeholders.

Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Comfortable with ambiguity and strong ownership.

Design, research experience is required.

Working knowledge of usability testing.

Knowledge/experience in working with design and communication tools: Adobe, Sketch or other prototyping tools. Skilled in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
