Sales Manager, New & Emerging Business - LinkedIn Marketing Solutions The role is open to San Francisco, Chicago, New York City, or Detroit depending on the candidate's location. The work location is hybrid, with some days in an office and some from home as determined by the team’s needs.

Overview: We are seeking a Sales Leader to join the global LinkedIn Marketing Solutions team as a Manager within the Online Sales Organization (OSO) New & Emerging Business team. OSO is a fast-paced, innovative group transforming how advertisers connect with customers. The Sales Manager will lead a team of Account Executives and Client Solutions Managers who consult with startups and other high-potential companies that are new to our ad platform, helping them grow using LinkedIn’s full‑funnel Marketing Solutions products. The goal is to grow Marketing Solutions sales revenue while living LinkedIn culture and values, building the team, setting strategy and go-to-market, and creating scalable operations. Coach and develop team members in value-forward selling and career growth, and partner with Go To Market Operations, Marketing, and Sales Enablement teams.

Responsibilities:

Inspire a Team – Lead as a People Leader with a focus on sales and operations. Coach team members, identify growth opportunities, influence stakeholders, advocate for your team, evangelize best practices for go-to-market and operations, and participate in team and business projects as needed.

Drive Engagement – Guide the team to establish trusted relationships with clients through high-quality engagement activities (consultative meetings, training, quarterly business reviews, events).

Drive Revenue and Results – Proactively identify growth opportunities for the business, team, and clients. Launch and iterate ideas; influence and develop others even without direct reporting lines. The Sales Manager will operate under a quarterly sales compensation plan.

Elevate the Overall Customer Experience – Ensure we deliver exceptional customer experience and help customers grow their business with excellence.

Invest in the Team – Foster growth, learn from one another, and promote a culture of compassionate leadership, openness, honesty, and constructive feedback. Make fast, high-quality decisions and balance hard work with a positive environment.

Communication and Collaboration – Maintain excellent written and verbal communication across channels; partner with Talent Acquisition on AE and CSM hiring and recruiting.

Strategic Leadership – Act as an owner, contribute to scale initiatives, manage resources effectively, and think globally to achieve goals.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in sales, specifically in the digital media/online advertising industry

2+ years of experience selling to B2B startups and/or B2B tech customers

Preferred Qualifications:

1+ years of experience managing a team

BA/BS degree or equivalent experience

Sales management experience in media and advertising

Demonstrated success in developing talent and delivering strong revenue results

Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on strategic, cross-functional, and process-improvement projects

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $248,000 to $379,000 (On Target Earnings). Actual compensation is based on factors such as skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and location. Pay ranges may differ by location.
