Responsibilities

Develop and/or update course syllabus

Prepare lectures, projects, or other student assignments

Meet all designated class periods

Maintain regularly scheduled office hours

Grading student assignments and exams in a timely manner

Submit completed mid‑semester progress reports and final grades in accordance with University regulations

Qualifications

Doctorate or master’s degree in the teaching discipline (or 18 graduate semester hours for a master’s)

For graduate courses: earned doctorate/terminal degree or a related discipline

University consideration of competence, effectiveness, capacity, related work experience, professional licensure/certifications, honors and awards, and documented excellence in teaching
