Linchpin Linchpin is looking for a Front End Web Developer. Candidates should have a passion for modern front?end development and be eager to truly learn and grow. If you have a love for SASS, Semantic Markup, React, WordPress, and creating custom WordPress themes you will fit right in. Remote Position Details: Must be a U.S. citizen. Preferred location: Southern New England area of the Northeast U.S., but special considerations may be made. This is a full?time remote position. Freelancers and contractors will not be considered. If this sounds like you, please check our open position. Potential candidates must submit a portfolio (website, CodePen, gists, or at least something we can review) to be considered. You should be able to explain your specific contribution to each project if you were part of a team. Must?Have Qualifications
Ability to communicate and collaborate. Deep knowledge of Semantic Markup, CSS (strong understanding of Sass), and web standards. Experience creating or working with custom WordPress themes. Knowledge of responsive design, using frameworks such as Foundation, Bootstrap, Material UI, or Tailwind. Attention to detail. Ability to juggle multiple clients/projects. Inquisitive and unafraid to ask questions. Understanding of vanilla JavaScript and, to a lesser extent, jQuery and how to implement. Open to learning new tricks. Great to have
Experience implementing modern JavaScript frameworks. We utilize React a lot. Familiarity with build tools like Yarn, Gulp, Webpack. Experience creating WordPress plugins. Ability to debug code independently. Comfortable using Git (e.g., GitHub Desktop, SourceTree, GitKraken). Nice to know
Experience with Jira or other task?management tools. Knowledge of GitHub Actions or other CI/CD tools. Familiarity with design tools such as Figma or Zeplin. Know someone who might be a good fit for this position?
