As a Security Professional - Media Patrol in Terre Haute, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic tech and media location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. - Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity within the location.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
- Document and communicate all incidents, observations, and/or concerns according to Allied Universal protocols.
- Assist authorized personnel and/or visitors by providing directions, access, and general information relevant to the tech, media, and telecom location.
- Support emergency preparedness efforts by being familiar with site-specific procedures and participating in drills or real situations as directed.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
