The Power BI Analyst/Report Writer will work closely with stakeholders across business units and third-party partners to define and implement reporting and analytics solutions. This role is responsible for designing and developing business intelligence reports, streamlining data analysis, and providing actionable insights through Power BI dashboards and semantic models. The analyst will also play a key role in process re-engineering, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to define business processes, software requirements, and reporting needs. Participate in cross-functional teams to support process re-engineering and continuous improvement initiatives. Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards, ensuring effective UI/UX principles. Document project requirements, scope, objectives, and expected benefits. Implement BI solutions and support strategic planning for information reporting. Liaise with business partners during product installations and testing phases to develop and refine reporting requirements. Maintain detailed documentation for all BI solutions and ensure updates to SOPs as needed. Implement system-level changes in line with project specifications. Support data governance and quality initiatives by understanding and applying related best practices. Required Qualifications

Demonstrated proficiency in Power BI (or Tableau). Experience in report design with a focus on UI/UX. Strong skills in object-based programming (Python, SQL, and/or R). Familiarity with DevOps and standard data governance techniques. Experience developing complex semantic models in Power BI. Knowledge of DAX, Power Query M, virtual tables, automation, and ETL/ELT processes. Understanding of cloud architecture concepts and experience with cloud platforms. Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with technical documentation and SOP maintenance. Familiarity with PII/PI concepts and data governance policies. Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Databricks or Snowflake platforms. Background in the financial services or banking industry (preferably working at a financial institution). Bachelor’s degree in Business or Information Technology. Recent experience in quality assurance and project management. Experience with Fidelity Information Systems (FIS) solutions such as Insight. Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working under pressure.
