Overview

Atlassians choose where they work – in an office, from home, or a combination of the two – giving them more control over supporting family, personal goals and other priorities. We hire anyone where we have a legal entity.

Responsibilities

Our Marketing team brings to life the Atlassian story to drive demand for our tools and spread awareness of Atlassian’s mission to unleash the potential of every team. We’re a dynamic crew of storytellers and strategists who bring to life our company, apps and solutions in a way that helps customers achieve maximum impact.

You’ll be joining a fast‑moving, experimental, and collaborative PMM team for Jira Product Discovery, one of Atlassian’s fastest‑growing products. We move quickly, hold a high bar for quality, and care deeply about last‑mile execution and ownership.

  • Own and evolve Jira Product Discovery’s messaging to clearly articulate its value and address customer challenges, ensuring consistency across every channel.
  • Shape and drive Jira Product Discovery’s GTM strategy – defining target segments, identifying key opportunities, and aligning campaigns, growth experiments, and content initiatives to drive adoption across the customer lifecycle.
  • Partner with demand‑gen and performance marketing to design, run, and optimize multi‑channel paid campaigns that drive awareness and acquisition across self‑serve and sales‑led segments, while testing new channels like influencers, Reddit, and X to reach new audiences.
  • Drive experiments with the product growth team across in‑product experiences, landing pages, trials, and onboarding to accelerate acquisition and activation.
  • Build content strategies that support campaigns and drive discovery, purchase, and adoption across the full funnel – from SEO/AEO and thought leadership to product guides.
  • Lead release marketing end‑to‑end, from defining messaging and running beta programs to coordinating cross‑functional deliverables and creating launch assets like demos, slides, landing pages, and quick reference guides.
  • Partner with Product, Growth, and Campaigns teams to influence product and GTM priorities, align roadmaps and messaging, and deliver cohesive launches.

About You

  • Strategic and hands‑on: equally comfortable shaping GTM strategy and executing the work to make it real.
  • A clear, compelling communicator: exceptional storyteller who can craft narratives for technical audiences and simplify complexity.
  • Strong executor: proven ability to build and scale content programs, campaigns, and experiments that drive measurable growth.
  • Creative and analytical: constantly scans the landscape—from category leaders to emerging players—to identify trends, creative tactics, and whitespace. Synthesizes insights into strategic plays that help Atlassian lead.
  • Collaborative, not consensus‑driven: builds strong partnerships with Product, Growth, and Campaigns teams, but can push back thoughtfully and lead through influence.
  • Thrives among high performers: enjoys working with talented, driven peers and contributes to a culture that values clarity, pace, and impact—without ego.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years in product marketing with a strong focus on B2B SaaS, ideally in collaboration, developer, or product tools.
  • Experience creating content that drives discovery, engagement, and adoption.
  • Track record of driving measurable impact through integrated campaigns, growth experiments, and content engines.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence across functions and levels, particularly with Product and Growth partners.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn insights into strategy and execution.
  • Comfortable operating in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments with a high degree of ownership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or equivalent business experience.
  • Experience marketing to product management audiences or working in a product‑led growth environment.
  • Experience building or marketing new categories or products in high‑growth environments.
  • Experience working closely with Product, Growth, and Campaigns teams to shape GTM strategy.
  • Global marketing experience is a plus.
