A talented young songwriter is seeking a music producer to bring her original lyrics to life. This project involves composing melodies, producing tracks, and overseeing the full recording process for several songs in pop, country indie, or R&B styles. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with youth artists and a strong understanding of contemporary music production. The role requires hands-on collaboration and creative input to ensure the songs are professionally produced and ready for release. The producer must be available to work on site in Dallas for the duration of the project.

Responsibilities

• Compose original melodies to accompany provided lyrics in pop, country indie, or R&B genres
• Arrange and produce instrumental tracks tailored to a young artist’s style and vocal range
• Oversee and guide vocal recording sessions, providing coaching and support as needed
• Handle all aspects of audio production, including mixing and mastering for release-ready tracks
• Collaborate closely with the artist to ensure her creative vision is realized
• Manage the recording schedule and ensure timely project completion
• Maintain a positive, encouraging environment suitable for a youth artist

Skills And Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a music producer, preferably with youth or emerging artists
• Proficiency in music composition, arrangement, and digital audio workstation (DAW) software
• Strong skills in vocal production, recording, mixing, and mastering
• Ability to work across pop, country indie, and R&B genres
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with young talent
• Must be available for on-site work in Dallas for the full duration of the project
• Organized, reliable, and able to manage project timelines effectively
