POSITION SUMMARY
This is an opportunity to own the creative process while staying close to the craft. You’ll be hands-on with design, while also guiding the creative direction (and a small team) that brings our marketing to life. You’ll ensure that all creative outputs effectively represent our brand and products, while engaging target audiences and supporting business objectives. If you’re both a creator and a leader, this role lets you do both—rolling up your sleeves while steering the vision.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the creative development of omni-channel marketing tactics across digital, print, photography/CGI, video, packaging, instore, and more, both as a hands-on designer and as a team leader.
- Provide direction, feedback, and mentorship to creative contributors in both North America and Taiwan, ensuring creative excellence and professional development.
- Lead the concepting phase from insight to execution, fostering collaboration to deliver strategic and creative solutions.
- Present creative ideas and strategies to stakeholders, clearly communicating rationale and vision.
- Ensure all creative deliverables meet business objectives and are consistent with established brand guidelines and visual standards.
- Partner closely with the Creative Project Manager to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring quality, timeliness, and effective prioritization.
- Source and partner with external agencies, freelancers, or vendors when necessary to scale creative capacity.
- Perform additional duties and contribute to special projects as required.
REQUIREMENTS
- 10+ years experience as a multidisciplinary designer taking projects from concept through completion
- 3-5 years experience managing a creative team
- Strong portfolio showcasing hands-on creative work across diverse mediums (print, digital, instore, POP, packaging, video, photo)
- Retail brand experience preferred, agency experience a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts or equivalent experience preferred
- Expert level knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and experience with other design/multimedia tools.
- Experience overseeing photoshoots, video production, and digital content creation.
- Strong understanding of the creative development lifecycle—from brief to delivery—including budgeting, scoping, and production management
- Highly organized with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
- Strong leader and collaborator that provides clear direction, constructive feedback, and motivates others to raise creative standards.
- Familiarity with brand strategy, campaign development, retail and e-commerce marketing, and integrated marketing best practices.
- Strong communication and partnership across cultures and languages, ensuring alignment, clarity, and collaboration within a globally distributed team.
- Demonstrates a “roll up your sleeves” initiative to get the job done
