Master Control Operator
KeenLogic is seeking a Master Control Operator to support one of our government programs. This role provides direct broadcast communications support, delivering high-quality live and recorded audiovisual coverage in support of the President of the United States. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in professional broadcast operations, video production, and live event management within high-visibility, mission‑critical environments.
Position type: Full‑time, onsite. Location: Washington, D.C. Core hours are 7:00 AM–9:00 PM Monday–Friday, with surge and weekend support as needed. KeenLogic offers health, dental, and vision insurance; paid time off; 401(k); and life insurance.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS with SCI eligibility
 - 5+ years’ experience in AV and/or television broadcast operations
 - 2+ years’ experience with equipment signal flow and operation of industry‑standard, broadcast‑quality audio and video recording systems
 - Proficiency in live switching, editing, and posting open‑press events to official and social media platforms
 - Experience working in high‑security, high‑tempo government or broadcast environments
 
Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate, monitor, record, edit, and catalog audio and video media for Presidential events, producing more than 6,000 recordings annually for the National Archives
 - Receive, distribute, and record on‑record and off‑record feeds from global Presidential event sites
 - Provide live production and post‑production support for streamed and on‑demand events posted on WhiteHouse.gov and social media channels
 - Operate and maintain closed‑circuit television and IPTV distribution systems over fiber and media networks
 - Produce video content using digital editing equipment and integrate graphics and titling systems on high‑definition broadcast networks
 - Deliver on‑site maintenance, technical support, and project management for government‑owned audiovisual systems
 - Support multiple concurrent live events and ensure rapid response (within two hours) to surge or after‑hours requirements
 - Supervise production booths, coordinate schedules, and ensure professional customer service and operational continuity
 - Manage video telecommunication software operations for live conferencing and ensure accurate recording and archiving
 - Incorporate American Sign Language (ASL) services via teleconference software into final live‑streamed or recorded products
