Position overview

Responsible for developing creative campaign concepts and leading multi-disciplinary teams through ideation to execution. Oversee the development of big, brand-building, persuasive, and unexpected ideas across all channels. Provide leadership and motivation while extracting ideas from reporting creatives. Ability to defuse problems and come up with solutions in the best interests of the company, the clients, and the creative team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct projects from concept to completion with minimal oversight from ECDs and GCDs, ensuring that creative ideas are executed in an exceptional way
  • Act in the best interest of the client’s and/or the agency’s big idea when managing the day-to-day operations
  • Provide creative guidance to ensure ideas are tied to strategy, pushing for Famously Effective ideas internally as well as with the client
  • Manage the client relationship and lead creative meetings/presentations to the client
  • Generate ideas to help pitch and win new business
  • Lead effective team meetings to organize high quantity of work and inspire/motivate team members
  • Work with internal and external strategic partners to create products using current industry best practices
  • Set an example for the larger team by maintaining high creative standards and involvement in agency initiatives
  • May develop junior teams with feedback, mentorship and modeled behavior
  • May train and supervise team members to ensure alignment with strategy, schedule, and creative standards
  • Communicate creative successes internally and externally
  • May oversee career development of junior team members, performing reviews to identify strengths and growth opportunities
  • Foster a positive environment for high-quality creative output
  • Stay current on creative trends and technologies to enhance processes and deliver innovative solutions
  • Infuse culturally relevant elements into briefs and campaigns by remaining curious about pop culture and audience behavior
  • Maintain a good understanding of the competitive marketplace and relevant audiences
  • Comfortable digging into science and data to ensure work reflects source material

What you will need

  • At least 12+ years of industry experience in a well-established, creative role with a proven track record of agency success
  • Agency experience across all channels
  • Strong creative portfolio highlighting relevant experience and award-winning work
  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of marketing, advertising, and digital experiences with proven conceptual and design abilities
  • Experience working with large teams in a client-facing role
  • Able to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

The base salary range for this position is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.

Pay Range: $125,000—$295,000 USD
