Base Pay Range

$100.00/yr - $105.00/yr

The Senior Digital Library Account Manager will serve as the primary liaison for institutional customers subscribing to Digital Library and Open Access services. This role is responsible for managing onboarding, renewals, pricing, documentation, invoicing, and customer support, while ensuring smooth operations and high client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver annual subscription and Open Access license quotes for consortia and individual accounts.
• Serve as the primary contact for onboarding and ongoing support, including usage reports and policy inquiries.
• Manage invoicing, license drafting, and documentation processing.
• Provide basic technical support (IP updates, SSO implementation).
• Maintain accurate CRM records and oversee account receivables.
• Represent the company at industry conferences, including booth setup/breakdown.
• Monitor account trends and flag opportunities or risks to leadership.
• Maintain financial reporting for assigned accounts.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required (preferred fields: Business, Marketing, Library Science, Computer Science)
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in account management, retention, and customer service within publishing (STM publishing preferred); Familiarity with Open Access licensing models is a plus.
• Skills: Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication; Comfortable working with international clients; Excellent organizational, time management, and decision‑making skills; Proficient with CRM systems and general computer tools; Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
