Director of Marketing / Marketing Coordinator

Reports to: VP of Operations (Interim) / Chief Marketing Officer / Executive Leadership Team

Supervisory: This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities

Position Overview

Genesis Lifestyle Medicine, a national leader in medical weight loss, hormone therapy, and aesthetics, is seeking a driven, strategic Director of Marketing. This role will coordinate day-to-day marketing activities while planning and executing scalable strategies for a growing network of clinics. This is a hands-on position for someone who thrives on both big-picture strategy and tactical execution. You’ll leverage your multi-unit healthcare marketing expertise to drive brand growth, patient acquisition, and practice-wide excellence.

Education and Experience

  • College degree preferred, especially with a business, sales, or marketing emphasis
  • A minimum of 5 years’ marketing management experience in a multi-unit, medical aesthetics, or clinic-based business

Technical Acumen

  • Experienced with marketing design/project tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, QuarkXpress, etc.) and content management systems (CMS)
  • Mastery of digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads and Meta Ads
  • Familiar with SEO best practices, CRM/marketing automation tools, and analytics dashboards
  • Detail-oriented, with a passion for accuracy and thoroughness
  • Patient service focus; responsive, empathetic, and improvement-oriented
  • Strong interpersonal skills: active listening, open-mindedness, conflict resolution, and confidentiality
  • Team player with leadership skills; fosters collaboration and positive morale

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Centralized strategy & systems: Develop scalable campaigns and processes adaptable to every Genesis location; centralize brand standards while enabling local execution
  • Performance tracking & reporting: Build and manage real-time dashboards for KPIs, cost-per-lead (CPL), ROI, and conversion rates across all clinics; use data to optimize and inform decisions
  • Multi-location SEO & local search: Own the creation of location-specific landing pages and optimize each clinic’s Google Business Profile to ensure top visibility in local searches
  • Marketing automation & CRM: Oversee a centralized CRM to manage leads, automate appointment reminders, and nurture patient relationships practice-wide

Day-to-Day Duties

  • Brand management: Enforce a consistent brand voice, messaging, and visual identity across all marketing channels and locations
  • Digital advertising: Lead targeted PPC and paid social campaigns: Google Ads and Meta, for both broad awareness and location-specific lead generation
  • Content strategy: Oversee content for websites, blogs, and social media; implement a unified content strategy that highlights treatments, patient stories, and education, but allows for local customization
  • Email & SMS marketing: Design and execute retention and engagement campaigns via email newsletters and SMS, including offers, announcements, and educational content
  • Event & promotion planning: Coordinate special events (e.g., open houses, webinars) at the regional or local level, collaborating with team members for seamless execution
  • Staff management & collaboration: Lead marketing initiatives (internal or agency); work closely with clinic teams to create a high-quality, cohesive patient facing content
  • Develop and track the marketing plan and budget
  • Manage and distribute promotional materials
  • Maintain patient tracking systems, testimonials, and survey programs
  • Facilitate weekly team meetings and regular check-ins with leadership
  • Ensure integrated messaging and cohesive multi-channel communications
  • Maintain marketing materials inventory and assist with internal/external communications

Required Skills and Experience

  • Significant healthcare or multi-location marketing management experience
  • Demonstrated technical expertise with digital advertising, SEO, CMS, CRM, and analytics tools
  • Strong leadership skills; able to coordinate teams and multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Growth mindset, with a drive to create scalable marketing systems supporting aggressive business growth
