What Does an Automotive Merchandiser Do

Our Automotive Merchandisers spend their days out and about driving preassigned routes. They photograph and video the exterior and interior features of a variety of vehicles for our partner dealerships. Our Automotive Merchandisers perform their duties outdoors and comfortably function with little to no supervision. They are the main representative to our partners and have a customer‑focused personality.

Responsibilities

• Follow specific instructions for taking photos and videos
• Use cell phones and apps proficiently
• Enter and exit all types of vehicles with ease
• Work on your feet
• Work with a sense of urgency
• Preferably able to drive a stick
• Professional photographer skills not required
• Manage relationships with dealership personnel
• Work independently with minimal supervision

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Comfortable working outdoors
• Ability to drive a stick is preferable
