JOB SUMMARY
Our Studio Producer is a critical part of telling this story to the world. This team will drive the product storytelling for our catalog, website, social and email as well as create content that our customers see in Paid Media. They will collaboratively create video and photography in our studio, in our stores, and on location — partnering with external and internal teams to bring innovative stories to life for every marketing channel. You will be the face of the studio team; collaborating with operations, creative, marketing, agencies, freelancers, and business leads to create compelling video, CGI, and photo content that tells a great story. They are the primary coordinator and driver of all production, including managing studio staff, freelance, 3D/CGI partners, and budgets to achieve the best possible output.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Be a critical contributor to the brand and creative advertising for a $1.5+ billion home décor brand.
Create content and media for a $40+ million marketing spend.
Manage and direct content for a $2+ million production budget.
Create, improve, and manage the systems and processes for content production for the brand.
Direct cross-functional teams and serve as the primary producer on small and large scale TV, photography, social media and video productions
Direct cross-functional teams to facilitate the ecommerce studio PDP workflow and process, driving consistency, timeliness, and scalability across Ecommerce production.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners and AI / CGI vendors on the digital creation of assets, approaching it with the same rigor as traditional photo shoots- from asset planning and art direction through final delivery.
Identify, secure, and manage resources and talent for photo shoots and virtual production, including in-house, freelance, and external partners.
Manage the total $2 million studio and content budget, invoicing, billing, and tracking.
Lead production with agencies and outside production resources on larger projects including Paid Media, location, video, television, and CGI/virtual production.
Manage timelines and workflows to allow for creative exploration while staying within budget and timeline.
Determine the photo studio and shoot schedules, collaborating with partners, channels, and agencies to deliver assets to meet deadlines.
Manage the integration of Marketing Ops and Merchandising timelines for turn-ins and campaigns into the total studio schedule.
Determine merch kickoff, asset share-outs, and turn-in timelines to meet campaign requirements.
Direct the organization and timing of all merchandise, samples, returns, and sets related to shoots and CGI asset needs.
Develop, hire, and maintain a network and contact list of photography- and CGI-related resources to supplement the in-house studio as needed.
Direct the team to adapt to the needs of the brand, constantly driving improvement in both the efficiency and quality of the work.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred. Equivalent experience is considered.
8–10 years of experience in photo, video, CGI/3D production, project management, or related field, or equivalent education/experience.
An understanding of the leading edge of new digital production methods including AI, CGI, etc and the curiosity and willingness to drive new approaches
Computer proficiency and ability to work in a corporate environment.
Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and familiarity with CGI/3D workflows.
Successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Stamina to be on-set — physical or virtual — 5 days per week.
Ability to travel when necessary (i.e. locally, regionally, and beyond).
Strong communication skills at all levels.
Ability to multitask and be extremely organized with attention to detail.
Self-motivated with ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
Ability to adjust and make changes with a spirit of collaboration and cooperation.
Ability to work extended hours when necessary (i.e. evenings and weekends).
Work closely and collaboratively with creative team: Photographers, Art Directors, Merchants, CGI vendors, Marketing team, buying offices, and external agencies/resources.
Manage full-time employees, freelance resources, and CGI partners within budget.
Organize samples to be shot before shoot begins as well as after, ensuring physical and digital assets align.
