Position Detail

Full Time / Salary Exempt
Reporting to VP of Ecommerce
Position Location – Headquarters, Costa Mesa, CA
Position Type: Remote or Hybrid

Position Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead UX/UI strategy for Z SUPPLY’s e‑commerce platforms, balancing performance, brand storytelling, and customer‑centric design.
  • Own the end‑to‑end design process: from concept development and wireframing to final UI and handoff.
  • Design and optimize engaging, responsive experiences across web and mobile that drive engagement and conversion.
  • Collaborate closely with E‑Commerce, Merchandising, Marketing, and Development teams to align design with business goals.
  • Leverage user research, A/B testing, analytics, and heatmaps to inform design decisions and continuously iterate on solutions.
  • Maintain and evolve our design system in Figma to ensure visual consistency and scalable design practices.
  • Partner with CRO Manager to develop and test hypotheses aimed at improving user experience and business KPIs.
  • Ensure accessibility, usability, and best practices are incorporated into every design.
  • Work hands‑on with front‑end developers to ensure pixel‑perfect implementation and a smooth handoff process.
  • Use tools like Asana to manage design workflows, track timelines, and meet project deadlines.
  • Stay ahead of UX/UI trends, tools, and technologies to bring fresh ideas and best practices to the team.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design, Fine Arts, or a related field preferred.
  • 7‑10+ years of UX/UI and digital design experience, with a strong emphasis on e‑commerce and women’s apparel.
  • Expertise in Figma is required.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects), Adobe XD, and Asana. Video editing and/or hand illustration skills are a plus.
  • Strong project management and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A portfolio showcasing strategic thinking, strong UI design, and a deep understanding of UX best practices.
  • Ability to identify user needs, anticipate behavior, and translate findings into seamless, intuitive design solutions.
  • Strong visual design sensibility, including typography, color theory, spacing, layout, and composition.
  • Understanding of how UX design impacts KPIs: bounce rate, conversion rate, engagement, and retention.
  • A self‑starter with excellent communication, problem‑solving, and collaboration skills.

Physical Demands / Work Environment

  • 3‑4 days in office / partial remote; work is conducted in an air‑conditioned office environment or at home.
  • Frequent use of hands, eyes, speech, computer and work‑related equipment; occasional standing, walking, climbing, balancing, bending, stooping, kneeling or crawling.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 20–25 pounds.

Salary Range

$125,000 – $150,000 Annually. Compensation will be determined based on location, role, and candidate experience.
