What you’d be doing in this role
As Canva scales, change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think thats all part of the fun. This role will give you a flavor of the kind of work youll be involved in, though it may evolve over time.
As the Global Head of Business Marketing at Canva, youll lead a dedicated business marketing organization, driving workplace adoption and expansion across organizations of all sizes. Working closely with our Consumer Marketing team, youll build on our impressive foundation of over 200 million users worldwide and organic usage in 95% of Fortune 500 companies to accelerate our enterprise growth through Canva for Teams.
This pivotal role reports to both the Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Customer Officer, highlighting its strategic importance in marketing excellence and enterprise revenue growth. Youll shape and deliver Canvas business narrative across all touchpoints—marketing campaigns, customer retention, thought leadership, and brand presence in the enterprise space. Youll lead efforts to create customer engagement and demand at every customer journey stage.
At the moment, this role is focused on:
- Owning and driving Canvas narrative for businesses, ensuring a consistent and compelling story across all channels.
- Developing and executing long-term B2B marketing strategies aligned with marketing and revenue goals.
- Driving marketing-sourced pipeline targets supporting revenue objectives.
- Leading and growing a complex organization of approximately 50-100 people across multiple functions and geographies, collaborating effectively across Canva.
- Building and managing a hybrid organization combining direct reports and matrix partnerships.
- Fostering a collaborative culture that embodies Canvas values and drives high performance.
- Partnering with Consumer Marketing to maintain brand consistency and develop distinct enterprise positioning.
- Building strong relationships with product teams to influence roadmaps and go-to-market strategies.
- Designing and orchestrating a comprehensive business marketing engine for predictable pipeline and revenue growth.
- Building scalable systems for campaign orchestration, lead management, and measurement.
- Creating repeatable, scalable processes globally while maintaining effectiveness.
- Championing inclusion and team wellbeing.
Youre probably a match if you have:
- Proven leadership experience managing organizations of 50-100+ people.
- Deep expertise in demand generation and product marketing within B2B/enterprise contexts.
- A track record of successfully driving pipeline and revenue growth through marketing.
- Strong technical understanding of marketing technology, attribution, and funnel optimization.
- Experience implementing sophisticated marketing operations and measurement frameworks.
- Ability to translate complex product capabilities into compelling market positioning.
- Proven ability to lead through influence in collaborative, matrix environments.
- Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellence in developing and mentoring marketing leaders.

We value fairness and offer competitive, market-informed compensation while ensuring internal equity. The salary range for this position is $343,000 to $457,000, based on skills and experience.
