About the job Our thirst for technology is a part of everything we do. The Data Center Engineering team takes the physical design of our data centers into the future. You’ll work with a team to tackle complex topics like power usage and environmentally-friendly facilities, optimizing for efficiencies and driving improvements with senior leadership and facilities technicians.

With your technical expertise, you will ensure compliance with codes and standards, develop infrastructure improvements, and serve as an expert in your specialty (e.g., cooling, electrical).

In this role, you will be responsible for the technical leadership and management of the Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) design process for Google’s mission-critical data center portfolio. You will ensure design quality, constructability, and cost-efficiency by reviewing conceptual designs, developing global CSA design standards, and coordinating with cross-functional internal teams and external Architecture/Engineering firms.
