Overview
The Senior Designer is responsible for creating technical drawings and specifications for products and machinery used in the manufacturing process. General Responsibilities
Develops precise drawings and prints for manufacturing equipment, tools, and products based on the specifications provided by engineers and product designers. Utilizes computer-aided design (CAD) software to create, modify, and update technical drawings and schematics. Creates detailed assembly instructions and diagrams to guide the manufacturing process, ensuring all parts and components fit together correctly. Works closely with mechanical engineers, industrial designers, and other professionals to ensure that designs are accurate and meet project specifications. Includes detailed information on materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes in the drawings to ensure that production teams have all the necessary information. Ensures that the final product meets the design specifications and quality standards by conducting quality checks and inspections. Experience / Qualifications
Relevant work experience or knowledge of the role Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
