SWA Group’s Laguna Beach studio is seeking a talented and motivated

Landscape Designer or Landscape Architect

with a minimum of

5 years of professional experience

and with proven strength in design leadership, project management, and construction documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture (required); master’s degree preferred.

Professional licensure in Landscape Architecture.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft 365.

Strong graphic and presentation skills, with the ability to produce compelling visuals and presentations.

Experience leading large, multidisciplinary teams and managing projects from concept through construction.

Exceptional attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Creative problem-solver with a deep understanding of design, documentation, and constructability.

Experience in a range of project types and scales, both public and private.

International project experience, particularly in the Middle East or Asia, is highly valued.

Proven ability in construction documentation, specifications, plant materials, and coordination with consultants.

Interest or experience in business development and client relations.

Additional proficiency in the following is desirable: BIM / Revit; D5, Rhino, SketchUp, and 3D modeling; Hand sketching

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $90,000 – $110,000, commensurate with experience.
