This role involves creating and refining mechanical and electrical designs with a focus on cable routing, assembly layouts, and 3D modeling in NX. The ideal candidate is hands‑on with CAD, detail‑oriented, and experienced in translating complex design requirements into high‑quality digital models. While we have no strict educational or background requirements, candidates with 10+ years of relevant experience are strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Create, modify, and manage 3D CAD models and layouts using Siemens NX. Support the development and documentation of mechanical and electrical assemblies, including cable and harness routing. Ensure models meet design intent, manufacturability standards, and engineering best practices. Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and manufacturing teams to ensure design accuracy and efficiency. Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and standards to maintain consistency across designs. Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of CAD processes and data management. Required Qualifications Proficiency in Siemens NX — must have. Experience with 3D modeling, layout design, and assembly management in NX. Strong understanding of CAD fundamentals, design intent, and drafting practices. Cable routing or electrical harness design experience in NX is highly preferred. Ability to interpret complex design data and communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams. No strict educational requirements — practical design experience and skillset are prioritized. Preferred Experience 10+ years of hands‑on CAD design experience. Experience working in automotive, aerospace, or high‑tech manufacturing environments. Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems. Interview Process Initial Resume Review – Candidate profiles are screened for relevant NX and CAD experience. Onsite CAD Test & Technical Interview – Selected candidates will participate in a hands‑on Siemens NX CAD assessment followed by a technical discussion with the Supervisor/Specialist and Department Head.
