Job Title Student Assistant – WOLF Radio Content Marketing Director Location UWG Recruiting Location Employment Type Part‑time, Temporary Job Summary Responsibilities : Collaborate with the Program Director to plan and promote shows and podcasts via on‑air, events, and other channels. Create and manage social media content to increase listener engagement and attract new audiences. Lead bi‑monthly meetings for shows and podcasts to review performance and brainstorm promotion strategies. Work with the Lead Graphic Designer to design flyers, posters, and handbills for promotional events. Assist Public Relations staff in conducting surveys and ensuring talent availability for events. Post blogs and maintain the station’s website. Support content marketing planning, including brand voice, audience personas, and messaging frameworks. Analyze trend data and campaign reports, providing insights to improve content offerings. Apply technology tools for station remotes and live events. Pursue professional development through staff training and leadership opportunities. Mentor staff and volunteers, maintaining adherence to all policy and procedural guidelines. Qualifications : Current student at the University of West Georgia, enrolled in at least six credit hours, with a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA. Completion of Core Area F and at least one of the following courses: WIT Training Course, COMM 3351‑Radio Program Production, COMM‑3352 Fundamentals of Television Production, COMM‑3353 Fundamentals of Film & Video Production, COMM 4421‑Radio Practicum, or COMM‑3354 Digital Social Media & Society. Proficiency in Adobe Audition is preferred. Physical Requirements : Frequent movement of audio/visual equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
