Position
The Daytona Beach News-Journal is looking for a creative Video Storyteller to share the stories of our community primarily through video. This journalist is able to identify, capture and produce engaging short-form videos that work well across multiple platforms (web, Facebook, YouTube, etc.). The videographer will work closely with editors and reporters to ensure videos capture the news of the day, ranging from breaking news and feature video to sports and entertainment. The ideal journalist is also able to shoot engaging photographs to accompany video and print journalism.
Responsibilities
- Identify, capture, and produce engaging short-form videos for multiple platforms (web, Facebook, YouTube, etc.).
 - Collaborate with editors and reporters to ensure videos capture the news of the day, including breaking news, features, sports, and entertainment.
 - Shoot engaging photographs to accompany video and print journalism.
