Compensation Range: $51,000.00 – $61,800.00
Summary Entravision Communications Corporation (NYSE: EVC) is seeking an On‑Air Sports Anchor to deliver engaging and accurate sports coverage on our news broadcasts.
Essential Functions Prepare the station’s daily sports reports for the assigned newscasts.
Write and maintain a high standard of style and tone for sports segments.
Use Twitter and Facebook to promote sports stories and station events.
Develop and maintain contacts with local sports teams and athletic departments, and report on local sports events. Create an attractive, interesting, accurate, and fast‑paced daily sports segment.
Work a varied schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays depending on sports coverage.
Review incoming sports footage for editing, cataloging, and filing of the video library.
Participate in community events and represent the station on social media.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Competencies Exceptional skills in conversational broadcast writing in Spanish.

Required Education and Experience College degree and a minimum of two years’ experience as a television sports reporter and/or anchor.
Availability to work holidays and the hours necessary to perform duties adequately.
Bilingual English/Spanish.
Knowledge of I‑News and Final Cut Pro is extremely helpful.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work Full‑time. Actual schedule and hours may vary.
Supervisory Responsibility Reports directly to the News Director.
