Description Job Title: Assistant Community Manager Company: Red Tail Residential Location: ReNew Sugar Hill Status: Full Time, Non-Exempt Starting Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour Supervisor: Community Manager, Multi-Site Community Manager, Area Support Community Manager, Senior Community Manager

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and perform leasing duties including showing units, processing applications, and managing move-ins.
  • Update unit availability daily, process maintenance work orders, and adhere to operating procedures and policies.
  • Manage collections in accordance with company standards; provide clerical and phone support; maintain accurate resident files.
  • Oversee move-in appointments and inspections to meet Red Tail’s standards; resolve resident complaints; conduct move-out inspections.
  • Manage deposit accounting with Community Manager approval; maintain accurate account records (e.g., NSF’s, rent allowances, concessions, rent increases, and other approved transactions).
  • Perform tasks or duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Special Requirements

  • Bilingual – English/Spanish skills preferred

Physical Demands

  • The team member will be regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, and reach using feet, legs, back, arms and hands. Occasionally may be required to climb. Ability to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and adjust focus. Must be able to work at a computer and talk on the phone for extended periods. Must be able to detect alarms and be available for extended/flexible hours and weekends as needed.

Attendance/Travel

  • Full-time position; may require some nights, weekends, and occasional holidays. Regular attendance and participation/planning at company functions and events expected.

Qualifications

  • Computer Skills: Intermediate computer and Internet knowledge; MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; knowledge of Yardi, Voyager, LRO, Entrata, Resident Check preferred

Learning And Development

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and career growth through the company’s continuing education programs.

Education

  • High school education or equivalent required
  • CPM, CAM, RMP, or CMCA certifications are preferred but not required
  • Ability to perform intermediate mathematical functions and use on-site resident management software

Professional Experience

  • Three years of experience in residential Community management in the Multifamily Industry is required
  • Tax credit expertise focusing on identifying, securing, and advising on various tax credits for individuals
