Fashion Technical Designer

Our client, a popular retail brand, is looking for a professional and dependable freelance technical designer to join their Los Angeles, CA team.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical specifications: Create detailed tech packs including construction details, specifications, and bill of materials (BOMs).
• Ensure proper fit: Lead fittings and provide feedback on drape, fit, and proportions.
• Collaborate with others: Work with designers, production teams, and factories to ensure that each design is executed accurately.
• Troubleshoot issues: Identify and resolve fit and construction issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Stay up to date: Research new materials, technologies, and trends in lingerie.
• Manage projects: Ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.

Requirements

• Knowledge of fit, measuring, and garment construction.
• Must have sense of urgency and be able to handle multiple responsibilities at once.
• 3+ years of experience.
