If you have a passion for design and a talent for crafting compelling visuals, this is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact within our team! **THE STARTING RATE:** $26 per hour **THE DAY-TO-DAY:*** Design and create simple campaigns and low-profile jobs from concept to completion* Work with creative management to ensure that designs meet corporate and client expectations, budgets and deadlines* Stay current in design trends and styles in various media, including digital and social channels* Generate high quality comps for presentation or review* Modify or revise complex digitals to ensure they RIP correctly and print properly for a variety of media* Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and select style and size of type* Use a variety of tools, applications and computer software to generate new images* Mark up, paste, and assemble final layouts to prepare layouts for printer* Draw and print charts, graphs, illustrations, infographics, and other artwork, using computer applications**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:*** Must be a minimum of 18 years of age* High School Diploma or GED is required* 2+ years of prior relevant experience in graphic design is required* Ability to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays is required* Ability to work on-call and maintain mandatory attendance for pre-established dates is preferred* Experience using Mac operating systems is highly preferred* Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign is highly preferred* Experience with 3D software programs, like SketchUp, is highly preferred**THE PERKS & BENEFITS:*** Access to company hotel, food and beverage, retail, and entertainment discounts as well as discounts with company partners on things like travel, electronics, online shopping, and more* Free meals in our employee dining room* Free parking on and off shift* Professional and personal development through programs and networking opportunities as well as volunteer opportunities in the community**VIEW JOB DESCRIPTION:**Are you ready to **JOIN THE SHOW**At MGM Resorts, we exist to entertain the human race and provide an unforgettable escape.
