Architectural Photographer - Las Vegas

CoStar Group is a leading global provider of commercial and residential real estate information, analytics, and online marketplaces. We are seeking an Architectural Photographer who will create high quality, creative photos and videos using DSLR cameras, drones, gimbals, and other state-of-the-art equipment. The role supports residential renters, homebuyers, and commercial real estate owners, investors, and agents who rely on high-quality media to market properties.

Responsibilities

• Use architectural photography expertise to produce interior and exterior media of multifamily, office, industrial, and retail properties.
• Create compelling exterior media for residential local neighborhoods, parks, and schools.
• Utilize a variety of tools to create visually appealing media including professional-grade cameras, tilt-shift lenses, drones, gimbals, sliders, 3D tour cameras, and others.
• Travel may be required up to a week per month or as determined by business needs.
• Use time of day, season, location, and photography expertise to determine how to best photograph assignments.
• Edit all photography and video in a timely fashion to deliver completed projects.
• Maintain professional and effective communication with clients during all aspects of media shoots (scheduling, setup, on-site interactions).
• Continued learning and development of skills, including staying up to date on new techniques and technology.

Basic Qualifications

• Demonstrable practical experience as a professional Real Estate Photographer or Architectural Photographer, or similar. Portfolio review required (select architectural, real estate, and exterior lifestyle media including exterior/interior photos, videos, and drone media).
• Minimum high school diploma or GED with 4+ years of professional real estate photography and videography experience.
• Full understanding of manual camera settings and lighting.
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro).
• Experience using macOS and MS Office.
• FAA Part 107 Drone License/Certification obtained within 30 days of offer.
• Must have permanent US work authorization and be able to rent a car for travel; valid driver’s license; ability to drive for extended periods (up to 2 hours) and occasional night/weekend availability.
• Satisfactory driving record check prior to start.

Preferred Qualifications

• Enjoys photographing buildings and neighborhoods in suburban and city environments; creative problem-solving.
• Strong relationship-building skills with key contacts at assigned companies.
• Excellent multi-tasking and time-management skills; able to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with commercial drone photography is desirable.
• Ability to capture and edit beautiful interior and exterior property videos and photography; thorough understanding of best practices for architectural photography, with artistic vision.
