Security Professional - Media Studio Patrol in New York, NY serves and safeguards clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. This part-time Security Officer role offers visibility into various sites through the exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and pick up open shifts based on your availability, allowing you to build a schedule that works for you while gaining valuable site experience. You will patrol and monitor assigned areas to deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence, delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $26.00 / Hour

Position Schedule

Days and times: Saturday 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM; Sunday 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by performing security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific policies and protocols.
• Carry out regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business interior and surrounding perimeter, to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the site in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.
• Document and report security-related incidents and observations according to Allied Universal and client policies.
• Support emergency response activities when necessary, following site-specific protocols and guidance from Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
