The Senior Marketing Technologist (Sr. MT) role within the Engines and Experiences Martech team is essential for the implementation and management of our marketing technology stack. This role is responsible for designing and consulting on technical solutions, eliminating technical redundancies, and ensuring that new technical implementations are executed efficiently and comply with organizational standards. The Sr. MT serves as the single point of accountability for end-to-end technical implementations, synthesizing inputs from various functional and engineering teams into a cohesive digital architecture.
Sr. MTs are experts in Adobe cloud marketing platforms—including Adobe Experience Manager (AEP), Adobe Real-Time Customer Data Platform (RTCDP), and Adobe Marketo Engage. They ensure that these platforms and the underlying database operate as expected, meet business compliance requirements, and follow industry best practices to deliver multi‑channel solutions. Their responsibilities also include maintaining email deliverability, privacy compliance, and data hygiene best practices.
Responsibilities
Architect and build templates within Adobe Marketo Engage and Adobe Express to empower marketing teams to build brand‑compliant scalable email activations.
Manage stakeholder relationships as the primary technical contact for Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Realtime Customer Data Platform, and Adobe Marketo Engage, ensuring technology solutions meet business needs.
Collaborate with marketing technology foundational teams to align with goals, standards, and updates in tools or processes.
Own the review and refinement of solutions with project managers and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with best practices and organizational policies.
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure jointly developed solutions will be successful and impactful.
Design and build database hygiene workflows and logic within Adobe Marketo Engage to ensure platform health is at the optimal level to meet marketing KPIs.
Adhere to key build standards and patterns in system architecture and data management, ensuring consistent and high‑quality implementations.
Oversee platform operations delivery, resolve technical issues, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
Understand all integrated systems from a technical standpoint and troubleshoot issues that may have root cause in any of the many interconnected platforms.
Handle privacy triage including issue validation, resolution, remediation, and mitigation.
Foster a collaborative environment, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and cross‑team knowledge sharing.
Communicate technical ideas to non‑technical stakeholders and leadership, building consensus.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years of marketing operations, program management, project management, or related experience.
OR equivalent experience.
5+ years in product management, program management, or marketing technology operations with a technical focus.
4+ years as an Adobe Marketo Engage administrator, including managing and building complex inter‑related workflows.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years of marketing operations, program management, project management, or related experience.
OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years of marketing operations, program management, project management, or related experience.
OR equivalent experience.
3+ years technology/process improvement experience.
Marketing Technology IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. The base pay range for this role in the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
