Our approach is integrated: Acquisitions, Development, Architectural Design and Engineering, Construction Management, Property Management, and Asset Management are handled in-house to support a cohesive project delivery. The information below reflects the responsibilities, qualifications, and expectations for this role. Position Overview Flexible Schedule: Monday through Friday with start times between 6–9 AM and end times between 3–6 PM (8-hour day). Corporate office hours are Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM. Flexibility to work additional hours may be required to meet company/project needs. On-Site Requirement: Presence at the corporate office during office hours. Compensation Package: $130,000 – $150,000 per year. This range is based on experience and location. What We Offer Competitive starting wages (as listed above). What We’re Looking For Minimum 10 years of architectural design experience with a focus on multifamily projects. 5+ years of experience in Revit. Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent experience. Architecture license required. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools. In-depth knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and standards related to multifamily design. Ability to balance design aesthetics with technical functionality and constructability. Understanding of sustainable design principles. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities. Effective communication and teamwork; positive, collaborative approach. Fluent in English (reading, speaking, writing). Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Your Role Project Leadership Identify clients’ priorities in terms of needs vs. desires through collaboration. Assist project architects and designers to ensure plans conform to client standards and applicable codes. Collaborate with design team, contractors, and clients to facilitate the design process to meet specifications. Lead and manage architectural projects from concept to occupancy, ensuring alignment with design intent, codes, and regulations. Develop project schedules, milestones, and deliverable dates; delegate tasks to meet schedules. Coordinate with internal and external teams, including architects, designers, engineers, contractors, and consultants. Design Oversight Review and approve architectural concepts, plans, and drawings to ensure alignment with goals and standards. Provide design direction and guidance to project teams to enable problem-solving and design excellence. Ensure quality and accuracy of plans, specifications, and documentation; implement QC procedures. Ensure projects comply with relevant codes and regulations; coordinate with consultants (civil, structural, MEP, landscape). Project Management Ensure contract compliance and manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and subcontractors. Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Address challenges during the project lifecycle; serve as primary client contact. Present project updates and design proposals to clients and stakeholders. Oversee multiple projects concurrently, maintaining timelines and budgets. Coordinate between design, construction, and client teams; monitor construction to maintain design integrity. Team Leadership & Development Provide mentorship to junior architects and design team members. Keep the team updated with design trends, technologies, and tools. Budget & Financial Management Create and manage project budgets; approve PO, contracts, and invoices. Prepare financial reports and monitor expenditures to mitigate overruns. Regulatory Compliance & Entitlements Ensure projects comply with local building codes, regulations, and zoning. Prepare, submit, and track permit applications; manage entitlement process with the development team. Coordinate with consultants and regulatory bodies to resolve permitting issues; ensure compliance throughout construction. The responsibilities listed are not all-inclusive.
