R-16479Technical Designer(s) (full-time, multiple openings) needed in Dallas, Texas to consult with clients to determine functional and spatial requirements of structures, and plan layouts of architectural projects. Prepare information regarding design, structure specifications, and materials used. Perform predesign services, such as feasibility or environmental impact studies. Collaborate and communicate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, vendors and regulatory agencies to resolve complex technical and design issues to meet overall project objectives, and ensure builder compliance with design specifications, and advise on design corrections. Establish design standards, space planning, and programming based on clients' functional and spatial requirements while meeting conceptual design goals. Participate in all project phases, including conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design (graphic presentations, physical models, 2D/3D renderings), design development, construction documents and production for core and shell architecture projects.Must have a Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field, plus two (2) years of design experience (non-intern, non-fellowship) with all of the following:1.

Work experience including Building Information Modeling (BIM) software, parametric design software, 2D/3D software, including AutoCAD, Revit, Illustrator, Photoshop, SketchUp, InDesign, 3ds MAX, Bluebeam Revu, Rhino, V-Ray and Enscape;

2.

Work experience with all project phases, including conceptual designs, graphic presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents and production, construction administration, and on-site visits and meetings;

3.

Experience with multiple project sizes, with concentration in large complex projects. Developing all design stages of projects, including industrial/logistics/campus projects and tenant-specific deployments;

4.

Developing code review, including general understanding of construction classifications, life safety analysis, vertical and horizontal egress, bathroom and fixture counts, zoning analysis, and local and international building codes; AND

5.

Developing aspects of client, team, and project coordination, including full documentation coordination with general contractor, structural, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing), IT, security, lighting, façade, audio/visual, acoustics, interiors, landscape, civil consultants, and working directly with other consultants and/or contractors.In the alternative, we will accept a Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field, plus five (5) years of progressive post-bachelor's degree design experience (non-intern, non-fellowship). Two (2) years of the five (5) years of progressive post-bachelor's degree design experience (non-intern, non-fellowship) must include experience with all of the following:1.
