Senior Staff Engineer
Client: Country’s largest lending-exclusive financial company, serving millions of customers online and through 1,400+ branches in 44 states.
Pay & Location
Base pay range: $100.00/hr - $110.00/hr (actual pay based on skills and experience)
Location: Baltimore, MD or willing to relocate to: Baltimore, MD; Charlotte, NC; Wilmington, DE; Irving, TX; Evansville, IN
Must live within 50 miles of OMF hubs or be willing to relocate
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain distributed systems.
Use a variety of technologies and languages, learning new ones quickly.
Apply industry-leading technology trends, best practices, design principles, and patterns.
Apply Agile software development, iterative delivery, and cloud computing methodologies.
Leverage cloud platforms and patterns, preferably AWS.
Use critical thinking and analytical skills to solve problems and achieve desired outcomes.
Continuously learn and share improvements with the team.
Influence important technical decisions and support their implementation.
Required Skills
Experience with Angular and Ruby.
Familiarity with React/Ionic, NodeJS, TypeScript, AWS, and GraphQL is a plus.
Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
Additional Information
Possibility of contract to hire (full‑time).
