The Citi Commercial Bank (CCB) helps mid-sized companies, across a variety of sectors, develop their businesses and enter new markets. The Services division provides our Commercial Bank clients with access to Citi's global reach and local transactional banking expertise for insights, advice, and guidance on expanding domestically or overseas. The Services Proposal Writer VP will be part of the growing NAM Proposals Team within the Sales organization and provide support to the business by efficiently and professionally producing proposals across the Treasury and Trade Solutions Services product set. This team is a key support to the end-to-end sales process, managing Global, Regional and in-country proposal requests.

You will support the Cash Management Sales process by:

  • Writing high quality Cash Management, Commercial Cards and Trade proposals
  • Working closely with the Cash/Commercial Cards/Trade Sales teams to deliver innovative solutions
  • Undertaking initiatives to improve the sales process and support the sales and proposal teams knowledge management processes
  • Lead and contribute to initiatives across the team

Key Responsibilities

  • Project manage the end-to-end completion of client Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs), working with Sales, Product, Client Delivery, Countries and other regional proposal teams. RFPs and RFIs are in Question & Answer format, free format and Power Point Presentations
  • Draft with Sales customized proposals for unsolicited bids
  • Work with multiple countries and product managers to create proposal templates for markets, clusters or regions for Sales Managers
  • Understand customer needs and product capabilities and partner with Sales to develop appropriate cash management and commercial cards solutions
  • Develop and maintain the Sales and Proposal team’s knowledge database content of product and corporate information to increase efficiency of proposal writing
  • Keep abreast of customer needs and market trends through continual training and partnership with Sales and Product Management

Qualifications/Skills

  • Excellent writing skills
  • Exposure to sales process within corporate/commercial banking environment
  • Good MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Experience with Qvidian software would be beneficial
  • Ability to learn other relevant software packages
  • Project Management experience and strong organizational skills
  • Good time management
  • Experience with MIS/data collation/Spreadsheets
  • Open to exploring Citi AI Tools to help us innovate and deliver productivity benefits
  • Min – 3 years banking / financial services experience with RFP writing a significant advantage
  • Experience in a bank’s transaction services business and front office environment experience of the corporate/commercial banking sales & cash management and/or commercial cards products
  • University degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range: $116,880.00 - $175,320.00
