Job Title: UI React Architect

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Duration: 12+ months

Job Description

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience with Minimum of 10+ years of IT experience.

Role

• Owning the technical architectural aspect of the entire project code.
• Designing the architecture and high-level plans, roadmaps.
• Code review and mentoring.
• Performance optimization.
• Technical leadership.
• Making decisions about the technology stack, tools, and frameworks.
• Solving complex problems.
• Collaboration with other teams and ensuring systems are integrated seamlessly.
• Communication with all stakeholders and teams.
• Continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Required Skills

• Ability to understand and handle large scale systems, code bases and teams.
• Proven experience of around 9-10 years working with React and other modern web technologies.
• Experience with Micro Front End (preferrably more than 1 year).
• Strong understanding of the React eco-system, including Redux, MobX, and other state management libraries.
• Experience with building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of web performance and usability best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Next JS.
• Experience with server-side rendering in React.
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest and Enzyme.
