Position Summary

To help with continuing our remarkable transformation, we are in search of a Marketing & Communications Specialist to join our dynamic team. You will support the creation and execution of messaging, design and execute marketing campaigns, curate thought‑leadership content, and help develop community programming aligned with Larta’s mission to advance innovation for a sustainable future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in evolving Larta’s brand identity and messaging framework for diverse audiences.
  • Develop high‑quality written content such as investment theses, strategic policy narratives, and campaign materials.
  • Build upon a ‘Playbook’ of campaigns to support Larta’s programs, development efforts, and organizational goals.
  • Contribute to the design and execution of educational and community programming for Larta’s ecosystem.
  • Work collaboratively across teams to align program activities with brand and communication strategies.
  • Support the planning and delivery of in‑person and virtual events, including Larta’s Demo Days.
  • Conduct research on impact areas to identify community challenges and solutions.
  • Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to develop engaging narratives.
  • Manage and execute a robust editorial calendar across multiple channels.
  • Develop compelling content and campaigns for foundations, family offices, and philanthropic communities.
  • Create fundraising narratives and materials for new initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5‑7+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or related fields, preferably in startup, nonprofit, or sustainability sectors.
  • Exceptional writing and research skills.
  • Experience in community program support, event planning, and managing multi‑channel marketing campaigns.
  • Proficiency with WordPress, HubSpot, Asana, and similar tools.
  • Experience working with diverse teams and stakeholders across government agencies, investors, and academic institutions.

Compensation

Salary range: $68,640 – $70,000
