A global interior architecture firm located in Chicago is looking to add a Designer to their team!
Job Description
- Develop architectural concepts for interior and exterior repositioning and/or adaptive projects
 - Develop design ideas and create both presentation and construction drawings
 - Draft technical drawings
 - Provide review of engineering and landscape drawings to ensure they comply with design solutions
 - With a Senior Designer, research and select fixtures and finishes
 - Preliminary concept plans for larger projects
 - May develop and finalize conceptual design for smaller projects
 - Oversees Intermediate Designers to review space plans
 - Provides details for interior and architectural design projects
 - Develop and deliver overall design and furniture packages
 - Obtain cost estimates and produce final cost estimates
 - Manage design budgets for assigned projects
 
Qualifications
- Graduate of architecture or design school
 - 5+ years of experience in workplace design, focusing on building repositioning and adaptive re-use projects as well as corporate interiors
 - Advanced presentation, rendering and architectural detailing skills
 - Extensive knowledge of CDs, building systems, codes, and ADA requirements
 - Working knowledge of path of travel requirements and contract administration
 - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Revit
 
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year.
