Job Summary

You must be a current UK student to apply. This position is located off‑campus with a local Lexington employer and is not affiliated with UK.

Able to take raw footage and create professional YouTube videos for Steve Farnau Realty’s YouTube channel – Back in the Bluegrass. Include thumbnails. Create approximately one video per week (≈48 videos per year). Looking for a creative person excited to collaborate with the owner to grow the channel and generate leads for a real‑estate business. May assist with filming and planning as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Take raw footage and assemble professional YouTube videos.
  • Create and add thumbnails.
  • Produce one video per week.
  • Assist with filming and planning as needed.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

  • Proficiency in video editing software.
  • Ability to compile videos from multiple clips smoothly.
  • Creative and initiative‑driven.
  • Understanding of SEO for YouTube and use of TubeBuddy.

Preferred Education / Experience

Understanding of how to increase SEO on the channel and use TubeBuddy for YouTube.

Hours & Compensation

Part‑time. TBD hours per week. $25 per hour plus.
