Our client, a well-known luxury fashion brand, is searching for a temporary Assistant Buyer to join their team in NY.
Hours
Full-time
Responsibilities
- Pull and update selling reports
- Complete recaps for activations, capsule, runway, etc.
- Monitor on-order shipping reports
- Monitor competitor landscape - product presentations, pricing, launches, etc.
- Pull samples for market
- Complete order entries
- Support with showroom set-up
- Review top-sellers
- Manage transfers between BUs
- Complete price updates
- Develop seasonal buy books
- Create recaps for CFT on buys and product investments
- Ad hoc tasks as assigned
Requirements
- 1-2 years of relevant buyer experience
- BA / BS Degree
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables and v-lookups), PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
- Strong organizational and prioritizing skills to ensure timely and accurate execution of responsibilities
- Must be proficient in retail math
- Be able to multitask in a fast paced environment
