Associate Manager, Talent & Influencer Marketing

DoorDash is looking for a dynamic, well‑connected, and creatively driven Associate Manager of Talent & Influencer Marketing to define how DoorDash shows up through talent across creators and celebrity names. This role requires taste, timing, and tenacity, and it values strong networks across creators, agents, managers, publicists, and entertainment ecosystems.

About The Team

The Brand and Creative Marketing team is known for high‑impact cultural projects. This position is within the Talent & Influencer Marketing discipline, working cross‑functionally with Creative, Communications, Partnerships, Media, and Social to bring breakthrough talent‑led storytelling to life.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Senior Manager to bring influencer and talent strategy to life across campaigns and timely cultural moments—from early brief input to final content delivery.
  • Leverage your own relationships in the talent ecosystem to identify and secure the right partners for our campaigns.
  • Take initiative to proactively source and pitch creator or celebrity opportunities that align with cultural moments, brand storytelling, or upcoming launches.
  • Lead day‑to‑day management of influencer and talent partnerships, ensuring creative excellence, operational precision, and cross‑functional alignment.
  • Collaborate closely with Creative, Communications, Partnerships, Legal, Media, and Social teams to integrate talent and influencer strategy across channels.
  • Manage budgets, negotiate rates and usage, and track deliverables through production and launch.
  • Stay deeply plugged into cultural and creator trends—identifying emerging voices, memes, or movements where DoorDash can authentically participate.
  • Evaluate performance data and translate results into learnings and recommendations that strengthen future work.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in influencer marketing, talent relations, or culture‑led brand partnerships, ideally in a fast‑paced consumer brand or agency setting.
  • Instincts of a creative and discipline of a producer, comfortable brainstorming ideas one moment and managing contracts the next.
  • Initiative‑driven— you don’t wait for assignments; you seek out opportunities, connect dots, and bring ideas to life.
  • Solutions‑oriented, calm under pressure, and adaptive to fast‑changing situations, known for finding ways forward when others see blockers.
  • Strong instincts for storytelling, keen cultural relevance, and ability to execute with polish and precision.
  • Deep curiosity, collaborative, and committed to raising the creative bar every time.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $108,800 – $160,000 USD, plus opportunities for equity grants. DoorDash offers a comprehensive benefits package, including a 401(k) plan with employer matching, 16 weeks paid parental leave, wellness benefits, and more.
