Position Summary

UCPS is seeking an elementary music teacher who will serve all three elementary schools within the district, inspiring students and integrating music into the curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Teach music to elementary grade students, developing lessons aligned with the district’s curriculum.
• Create and implement music curriculum and assessments.
• Collaborate with teachers and administrators across the district.
• Maintain an engaging and inclusive classroom environment.
• Participate in required professional development, background checks, and training.

Qualifications

• Active Kentucky Teaching Certification or Statement of Eligibility (SOE) for music instruction.
• Official transcripts and supporting certification credentials.
• Strong content knowledge and instructional experience in elementary music.
• Demonstrated commitment to inspiring students and promoting a high-performance learning environment.
