What You’ll Do
- Assist and support the 300Brand team in managing client accounts. Project types include public relations, digital marketing, and events.
- Draft and edit written content (e.g., press releases, media pitches, bylines) with guidance from senior team members.
- Support strategy development by contributing ideas and assisting in the execution of public relations campaigns.
- Assist with securing and coordinating press interviews, including drafting pitches, researching reporters, and tracking outreach.
- Build familiarity with IT‑focused legislation, industry/technology trends, and client solutions to support team recommendations.
- Help track progress toward client program goals and deliverables; provide timely updates and contribute to strong client relationships.
- Maintain clear, proactive communication with clients and internal teams through timely responses and detailed recaps.
- Manage account administration, such as building timelines, tracking deadlines, preparing meeting agendas/recaps, and developing client reports.
- Contribute to and support all aspects of digital content marketing programs, including developing copy for websites, marketing campaigns, and social media, as well as managing deliverables for campaigns and programs from start to finish.
- Support the management of project timelines and coordinate on tasks with other internal teams (research, creative, content).
- Maintain awareness and understanding of 300Brand’s portfolio of services; conduct research of clients’ business and public sector IT industry to maintain a current knowledge base.
- Collaborate across internal teams including creative, digital services, research, and content; deliver highly responsive service and build positive relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external).
- Attend and participate in office staff meetings and required education training; report to management any problems in implementing 300Brand policies and/or in performing job functions.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of public relations or marketing experience, with experience in government and/or technology a plus, but not required.
- BA or BS degree; Marketing, PR, or Communications preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills – must be able to edit and proof for clarity and consistency.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work as a member of a team.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work under pressure; generate ideas and think creatively.
- Ability to facilitate organization of project details, track and follow through on personal deadlines.
- Problem‑solving initiative and willingness to take ownership.
- Proficiency with technology, including computers, telecommunication devices, marketing software, collaboration tools (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Workspace), and AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude).
- Ability to work 8‑hour shifts or more as required by 300Brand; ability to travel for meetings and training as required.
Salary
$55,000 – $60,000 per year.
