Position Purpose
Studio Associate, Maintenance Technician at The Home Depot is responsible for overseeing, maintaining, and repairing equipment in the Commercial Photography/Videography studio. The building spans over 200,000 square feet and includes five functioning studios, a warehouse with shipping/receiving dock, office spaces, a kitchen, laundry room, greenhouse, and a carpentry and paint shop. The Maintenance Technician handles day‑to‑day plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems throughout these spaces and performs custodial services as needed. A flexible schedule is required, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business partners to define strategy and objectives, using creative thinking to problem‑solve and recommend improvements.
- Drive continuous improvement and quality assurance by applying best practices and consistently executing project work.
- Ensure production aligns with brand standards, workflow runs smoothly, and deadlines are met while keeping all teams informed.
- Maintain site and studio safety standards, compliance, cleanliness, and organization.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Training in electrical, via apprenticeship, on‑job training, or technical school.
- Basic understanding of plumbing and mechanical systems.
- Physical stamina and good organizational skills.
- Understanding of technical drawings.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Attention to detail, proactive problem‑solving, and high collaboration.
- Knowledge of and adherence to safety protocol.
