About Us
Blockworks is an information platform that sits at the center of the crypto industry. We transform raw, complex data and facts into actionable research, trusted news, alpha‑driven insights, and world‑class events. The result is transparency and confidence. We enable investors, operators, and institutions to see past the noise, make better decisions, and drive the industry forward.
Who You Are
You’re energized by the fast‑paced world of crypto, finance, and tech. You love staying plugged in—whether it’s through Crypto Twitter threads, podcasts, or daily newsletters—and you’re excited by the chance to help shape and support conversations that matter, both online and IRL.
You’re a strong communicator who takes pride in keeping things moving behind the scenes. You thrive in the mix, can solve problems on the fly, and are skilled at making sure events and content come to life seamlessly, on time, and with a consistently high bar. You bring a calm, can‑do energy to the chaos and are the kind of person who makes everyone else’s job easier. You’re organized, proactive, and always two steps ahead of the details.
What You’ll Do
As our Event Content Specialist , you’ll support the execution of Blockworks’ event programming and content marketing efforts. You’ll be focused on making things happen—sending outreach, scheduling calls, prepping speakers, posting on social, and helping make sure everything runs smoothly leading up to and during our events.
Speaker Outreach & Scheduling: send outbound invites, manage responses, and schedule prep calls.
Social & Email Copywriting: draft speaker announcements, promotional tweets, price change updates, and email copy in partnership with the content and marketing teams.
Roundtable & X Spaces Support: join intake calls, help with logistics and prep, and provide live support during virtual and in‑person sessions.
Marketing Coordination: post regularly on Twitter and LinkedIn, help maintain promo calendars, and support development of marketing assets for upcoming events.
Industry Research & Trend‑Spotting: curate content diet to identify emerging voices, ideas, and narratives that resonate with the Blockworks audience.
Sales Collaboration: research and identify potential sponsor leads, building high‑quality lists for the sales team.
Onsite Event Execution: assist at flagship events—wrangling speakers, running green rooms, prepping materials, and providing real‑time coordination.
Speaker Follow‑Up: send thank‑you notes and gather relevant materials post‑event to close the loop and maintain great relationships.
Experimentation is frequent; comfortability with being uncomfortable is a must.
What You’ve Done Before
You’re a regular consumer of crypto or financial content and are eager to learn more. You don’t need to be an expert, but you should know the major players and follow the conversation online, and be comfortable engaging with the space.
You have 1–3 years of experience in a fast‑paced, client‑facing role where clear communication and follow‑through were essential. You’re organized, proactive, and can juggle multiple threads without dropping the ball. You’ve worked directly with external partners and know how to write a great email, schedule a meeting, and follow up without being nudged.
It’d Be Great If You’ve Done This
Experience supporting live events or digital programming in the crypto, finance, or events space will move you to the top of the list. Relationships with thought leaders in TradFi or crypto are a plus. Bonus for having run brand social accounts, authored promotional content, or collaborated with a sales team to support sponsorship efforts.
